I'm sorry for the people i offend by saying this, but Halloween is the most pointless, idiotic, unaustralian and poor excuse for a "holiday" that was ever created. I admit, it is however a good excuse to have a horror themed party at someones house where everyone dresses up, but i think that the parents that encourage their AUSTRALIAN kids to dress up and knock on stranger's houses in the afternoon to get lollies is just stupid.

I also hate that i wasn't aloud to play Playstation because the noises would "hint" that someone was home and that all the lights at the front of the house were off resulting in me stubbing my toe on a skirting board when turning the corner.
You may have guessed by now, but I REALLY HATE HALLOWEEN!!!

My family generally isn't too much for it, but I reckon turning off all the lights and sounds and pretending you aren't home is a bit much.

Never found the appeal in halloween myself. You never celebrated it in New Zealand or at least you didn't in our part, plus i would have had to walk about 20mins to the nearest neighbour but i agree its pointless.

Well i see where Emerson is coming from but i dont understand why they need to interrupt your night. But the one trick & treater was quite old, either year 8 or 9 and i gave him his treat which i told him to Fuck Off. I'm such a nice person :D
