Most Expensive Instruments in the World

Surprisingly (i thought) the most expensive instrument is actually a unique violin made by one of the most prestigous violin makers in the world, Stradivarius. Of the 1100 recorded that was made, only 650 have survived. The "Lady Tennant" violin made in 1699 is the most covetted, well known, and expensive. A Stativari would sell at about $2.03million each.
In number form that is $2 030 000.

The most expensive electric guitar would be as of 2006 (i think) apparently surpassed Eric Clapton's famous guitar "Blackie" at $950 000 USD. The guitar above however was sold during a charity event and was signed by loads of famous guitarists including Clapton himself. The signatures included were:
Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, Brian May, Jimmy Page, David Gilmour, Jeff Beck, Pete Townsend, Mark Knopfler, Ray Davis, Liam Gallagher, Ronnie Wood, Tony Iommi, Angus & Malcolm Young, Paul McCartney, Sting, Ritchie Blackmore, Def Leppard, and Bryan Adams, the coordinator of the project.
This guitar was sold for a whopping $1 mill by the Quatar's royal family. It was then donated back and sold for $2.7 mill. Collecting together $3.7 mill.
$3 700 000 !!!!!

Reasons to Blog

I'm not directly attacking anybody, but lately i feel that some of the comments that have been made on certain blogs have been unnecessary. Am i right to say that blogging was supposed to be used to put our OWN ideas out there? If you have a problem with my ideas then keep them to yourself.
For example, i don't care if you think that my "dream guitar" is crap. Your not going to buy it. Your not going to play it. And more importantly you probably won't even see it, because you will be to busy ogling about how cool YOUR dream guitar is.

Commenting is for saying "yeh that's great, this is what i think..." or "i don't agree because i think this...". Not for saying "i hope everyone in 3DG dies on a plane crash because i have a different view on music that is better than everyone elses."

Unnecessary attacking on fellow friends? Ask yourselves why?

Just a couple of random facts...

1) Ben Lee was short (in stature)

2) He did not sing at his rehearsal (dissapointing)

3) The rehearsal ended up being quite boring because of the lack of singing and nobody knowing what music was being played except for the people playing it

4) I dissected a rat today!!! YAAY!!

5) Joe will be my first victim when i become a serial killer for starting the milk/ lactose in tolerant jokes

6) I got the second season of Supernatural from Conor today and this time i won't brag about the ending by assuming everyone had seen it (sorry liss and geoff)

7) I'm have "Apricot Chicken" tonight...?

8) I am not Majikarp!!!

9) Zebras are white with black stripes

10) The glass is half empty or half full depending on whether it used to be empty or full before the state of being emptied/filled to the halfway mark of the glass... (don't read it again to make sense of it, it's no use...)

Train Station Quote

You know at the Joondalup Train Station there are some tiles outlining the wall with small quotes on them. This morning i noticed one that seemed interesting and yet very true.

"The future is something which everyone reaches at the rate of 60 minutes per hour"
Clive S. Lewis

So true right???

A phone worth dieing for???

Upon searching the internet on reports about new ipod touches and iphones ect. I came across an article outlining the suicide of a Chinese man after he lost/misplaced a prototype 4th gen iPhone...

His appartment was illegally searched before he was detained and "abused" according to the report

He jumped out of a window from his upstairs apartment building. SPLAT!!! (Humor appropriate? Am I a bad person?)

Les Miserablès from the front row!!!

OMG it was so awesome seeing Les Miserablès from the front row. The picture above was taken after the show. Being in the front row, i was able to see both the play and the orchestra down below, who i might add did an excellent job playing music. They had to play literally a 3 hour long piece of music with only a 15min break for interval.
Some of you may know of an ex-student who went to our school named Ben Doncon? Well he played Marius (one of the male leads).

Magnificent!!!

Today we had to stand in the rain for a bus that was like 10 minutes late! (damn you transperth!!!) And there ended up being some chemistry between Joe and this tree.

good thing joe's good at chemistry lol!!!

Another good thing was that Geoffrey brought his humungo umbrella!!! It fit 5 people under it!!! OMG!!!

Post Lag

It seems i have a problem with my account. My posting seems to be delayed on the message boards for as long as 26 hours before it is seen and noted. I dunno why it's doing this but if it seems i'm a bit late on things then make sure you look at the date and time it was published on my BLOG because that is correct (not the "so many hours ago" on the message board).

Thankyou Annie, by the way, for giving me the recognition for seeing the soundwave lineup first :)

On another note it seems i have my first random... Fann_lock453 is my newest follower and yet i have no idea who he/she is.

Soundwave Lineup

Ahh, it is good to see that I would be able to see some of my favourite bands at soundwave.
Here is the complete lineup for Soundwave 2010:

Faith No More, My Chemical Romance, Janes Addiction, Afi, Paramore, HIM, Alexisonfire, Taking Back Sunday, Trivium, Sunny Day Real Estate, Eagles Of Death Metal, The Get Up Kids, Anti Flag, Reel Big Fish, Meshuggah, All Time Low, A Day To Remember, It Dies Today, Escape The Fate, Clutch, Isis, Gallows, A Wilhelm Scream, The Weakerthans, Emarosa, Anvil, The Devil Wears Prada, Comeback Kid, The Almost, Dance Gavin Dance, Four Year Strong, You Me At Six, Whitechapel, The Aquabats, Rolo Tomassi, Baroness, Rx Bandits, Maximum The Hormone and The Creepshow.

It would probably be a good idea not to get too excited because ETF, AD2R and Emarosa are all going to be “Supporting Artists” as appose to Alexisonfire and Paramore being “Artists”. What this means I don’t know but if you haven’t a clue then have a look at this reference: Click Here

Hope you guys see some bands that you like because I am so going to this!!!

Kangaroo anyone?

Yes, i did just do the unthinkable. Some of you may know about our national icon the kangaroo, commonly seen on the 50c piece and on golf courses, but i have now seen it in a whole new place.

Yes you are right. Tonight i ate Kangaroo Stew made by my very own mother. Some of you may now be thinking eeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwww. But believe it or not, once you smell and taste it, it really is gooood. The meat looked similar to beef but was slightly more stringy and sweeter. This is one of those foods that you have to eat/try before you die.

DELICIOUS!!!

New Band: Emarosa

I recently found this band on iTunes called Emarosa. They sound pretty cool from what i have heard from the short 30 second previews and tracks on myspace. They have some singing similar to Escape the Fate and Alesana. Check their music out on their myspace and see what you think.

So far they have released a 7 track EP in 2007 and an album called Relativity in 2008. Their music is well worth the listen, though the EP seems to have a little more screaming and deep growling as accents similar to how Escape the Fate distributed theirs in their latest album This War is Ours.

Prince of Persia the Movie???

There has been continuous rumours about a movie from the Playstation 2 platinum hit Prince of Persia series. I personally think that this is seriously a bad idea. Most video games that have been turned into movies have failed miserably sometimes even before they reach the theatre! For example, i was following for a while the possible movie made from the Xbox game Halo and it failed before it even reached production. At least Halo had a storyline that was fit for a movie. There isn't much of a storyline for a movie is there for Prince of Persia? Really? The only real success i have seen for a video game to movie production that i enjoyed was Hitman and that is it. I give this movie a good luck but i don't think it will last on the screen. There are some posters out such as the one below (note that the outfit is from the second video game???) as well as some pics of the vizier ect. It looks like they are going to try and do a good job but...

Wait a Second!!! Disney's Funding this!?!? This should be interesting lol!

Liked "Death Race" ?

A new movie is set to release in september in America called "Gamer" where convicts in the future are used as slaves in a real life video game called Slayer, where gamers in the outside world literally control their body movements. The game is then broadcasted around the world. What makes it better is that it has Dexter (Michael Hall) in it as the billionare bad guy! OMG! If this weren't for keeps (meaning if you die in the game then you actually die) i would be so into this!

I tell you what, if you liked Death Race then i bet you will love this movie!
Watch the trailer here

Padge Making an Instructional DVD?

Wow! Who was inspecting this? Padge from Bullet for my Valentine announced earlier this year about making an instructional Dvd for "Rock House" for help with advanced playing on the guitar (Click Here for Reference). He teaches his tips and secrets as well as showing you how to use certain tecniques to get the hang of tricky skills for the guitar. Awesome! I'll take a copy....

It seems that i now have a war on my hands

I have been subject to intense threats by the authors of musicprofessiomihi that in seven days i will join their list of fail blogs unless I:

1) Commit Blogal Suicide (a choice with alot less dignity it seems... sorry blaise)
or
2) Impress Wong in some way that leads to him not doing it (which seems pretty much impossible when Wong makes a threat such as this and will also give him satisfaction)

However it could also be an option to 3) do nothing... but this it seems is pretty much committing blogal suicide :( or 4) Grovel... which according to the subject that Emerson made proved futile and ending up failing miserably.

So today i have decided to NOT make a direct decision, however this cannot be seen as doing option 3). My lack of choices my force my hand into other more direct approaches to this threat. I will in fact take into account the failures in which people (emerson) have done to prevent this seemingly inevitable event to not happen and then choose to act accordingly. (here's hoping that option 4) doesn't become more tempting)

Now to lighten up the mood of this post i will now give you a picture which you may find hilarious. Click Here
May i thank Wong for the Picture which i searched for ages on people's blog's to find a picture like this..(Please note that this is not flattery that coincides with option 4)!!!) Because i couldn't find the one of this person hitting their head against a brick wall.

ahhh you are not so clever Inquisitor

I found something very interesting by being on the stupid blog of the "inquisitor" for by clicking on the picture of the post when he says "harvest is coming" i came across a name from the file it came from saying "necrons". Now, i searched this up on wikipedia (thankyou wikipedia) and i found that the picture is a necron character from the "has been" computer game Dawn of War... Taking a quick look through the writing (click here to read it) made me see that he has used simple but effective words to use in the older post which is a lot longer from the 1st of August. You have to do better than that inquisitor! First you use other people's quotes and now other peoples characters/storylines to try and do your best to be mysterious and scary. Reveal yourself before you do yourself any more discredit.

Have Fun!

Monday, August 3, 2009

I was just taking a casual roam through my computer files, deleting things to make some room ect. when I came across a picture which I have taken that I havent really had a good look at before. If someone can guess where this is then I would be very surprised. Emerson should know... But this picture i have not really noticed as quite good until now. For those who don't know about my latest craze in photography (especially underwater photography) I have to say that this has to be one of the best photos i have taken. wow!

Call of Duty 4 hack on PS3

For those people who don't know, Call of Duty is basically a first person shooter that's one of the best online multiplayers around at the moment. However... People have now fucked that up absolutely! Wasn't that nice of them!? What I'm talking about is the new hacking programs that people have developed to bypass the system and destroy the game as we (gamers) know it. People can now fly around the field at high speeds and cannot be touched by other players (however they cannot kill either) and land next to you and kill you. This is not all! They can also turn on red laser sight which is only available in the offline game as well as unlimited bullets ect. For a short youtube video click here and see for yourself. Make sure that if you do watch it that you read all of the remarks people have made about it and how much people hate these damn people!

Do people have no shame!? Do they realise that, by posting a simple how to tutorial onto youtube, they can ruin millions of people's fun!? OMFG!!! the only way to deal with these people is with the use of a firing squad!

End of Raving

Welcome to Brandon's Blog

Brandon's New blog is now open for viewing, however, due to having nothing to say right at this moment, you are reading absolutely nothing which i am trying to make look quite big as to make it look like i'm saying something which it is actually not... Right now you may be wondering why you are reading absolutely nothing even though there is more to read, but maybe you should keep reading because maybe at the end of this load of absolute crap you might find something interesting to read which at this point there isn't...

That's enough from me,
cya round...
