Blog Vs Facebook

I have been really lazy with the blogging lately, mainly because facebook is now my time waster. After finishing school there hasn't been much to report apart from the EPIC camp which I thoroughly enjoyed! Getting my PS3 back I suppose is something else that has changed, and I celebrated with buying a new game, "Aliens Vs. Predator" which is a very well done game I might add. I got my new set of dive gear and even did some christmas shopping, but my life still becomes conflicted between Facebook and Blog. WHICH ONE!? I have to keep up with both? LIFE IS SOO HARD :P

On the upside, large bulk posts about my life in the past few weeks like this could be the norm ;) but I think that now I'm talking (*writing **typing) to delay sleepy times.

So Goodnight to ALL and I hope I get back to blogging once again as soon as I have something to blog about!

PS: I heard there may be an unexpected visitor at this weeks Secret Santa Party... I wonder you it could be...?

My Ultimate Photography Gear

Well maybe not ULTIMATE but at least my expected upgrade from my crappy Intovaleakingbitchthatdoesntworkeverfuckinbitchfuck.

Here is the camera, you may recognise it from somewhere... To be honest its a really good choice of camera both because of its price and compatibility for an underwater housing. The Canon 500D:

Also the underwater housing i'm looking to buy would be under the Ikelite housing range. This is because they are not only reliable as a brand, but also because they have clear housings, so you can detect a leak very quickly and abort the dive to save the expensive camera within. This is ikelite housing for the Canon 500D:

As you physics people would know very well, certain wavelengths of light are slowly lost at depths. For example, something bright red on the surface will be a dull brown colour at about 30m. To put this colour back into photos, you need what is called a strobe, which is basically a powerful external flash that can only be fired underwater because its heat and light intensity will boil and melt away itself and the globe (it needs to be used in water so it can cool itself). I would like to buy these dual strobes for my housing.

Overall the Camera will be around $1200, the housing about $1500 and for DUAL strobes will be about $1900. So overall it will be about $4500... Which I figured out that at the rate I'm getting at work now, it would mean 315 hours work, which working 4 hours in a working day will be about 79 working days to save up for. Working roughly 3 times a week would take me 26 weeks to make this money which is roughly 9 months... THERES MY MATHS FOR THE DAY!

Snorkel Trip Anyone?

I do realise that a bunch of you don't have anything to snorkel with, but i think it would be great fun times to simply be at the beach with everyone who wants to go!!!

What do you reckon? I'm happy to organise it if people are interested in a simple day at the beach but it would have to be weather committing and people committing. If there is enough interest I will keep an eye on the weather and I should be able to give you a weeks notice as to when the best time is to go. I was planning to go to a place called Mettams Pool because apparently is a good snorkel spot, so if you have a mask and snorkel you should come along!!! But it's not just for snorkellers as it is a beach after all :D. Heres a link and a photo! If you look up "Mettams Pool" in the street directory under "beaches" its near Trigg but its a good spot.

My Study Environment

If you were to walk into my room while I am doing study you would notice this:

• Blaring Music from my computer
• Computer opened up to facebook
• Study books strewn over my desk and floor
• A neglected room with everything on the floor everywhere because I cannot be bothered tidying it
• Drink glasses, cans and many other reminants of past drinks and food
• Me sitting at my desk looking at you because your in my room and telling you to FUCK OFF!!!

Gameweek 4

After last week's bye game the team played exceptionally well against a solid opponent. At half time, Sega FC dominated play with a 3-0 lead over Velocity and kept up the pressure in the second half. Our fitness was very good, however seeing how the team wasn't as difficult as Game Week 2 I think there is still room for improvement as running lessened in the second half.

Also of note, Joe, Sega FC's new and traitorous keeper from rival team Atari FC got his first clean sheet of the season with some good saves in goal. WELL DONE COLOUR BOY!!!

On the underwater.com.au website I've decided to enter my favourite picture into a competition!

The picture I decided to enter was this one mainly because of the fact that the quality is so awesome and the lengths I had to get the picture (was really hard because of movement in water).

I'm thinking of entering this one as well... I'm not sure yet...

Prince of Persia

I bought the bluray/dvd/digital movie of Prince of Persia: Sands of Time and I actually really enjoyed it. Considering what the movie had to make into a story line (nothing) i think they did a very good job of both creating one and executing it really well.

I wanted to see more traditional moves from the Prince though, like for example, he only did a couple of acrobatic moves from the game and his fighting was still epic. The actor was well suited to the role and he definitely recreated the image of Prince really well.

Coldplay: Most Sleep-Inducing Band

Coldplay are the band most likely to send people to sleep, according to the findings of a new survey.

Canadian singer Michael Buble was second in the poll, while Irish group Snow Patrol came third.

The top-5 was completed by Alicia Keys and Jack Johnson, who is famed for his beach side easy listening music.


The study, conducted by Travelodge, found that 84% of people listen to music in bed before going to sleep, while one in four fall asleep with their iPod on.

Fifteen per cent of adults said they get a much better night's sleep if they have listened to music before drifting off.

Stevie Williams, of the Edinburgh Sleep Centre, said that “listening to soft, relaxing music at bedtime leads to a number of different benefits to a night's sleep”.

He continued: "These benefits include a longer sleep duration period, fewer night time awakenings and shortening of the time it takes to fall asleep."

ARRG! Nobody can be bothered much anymores... nor can I lol!

1 Week Left

Its kinda hard to believe that approaching us will be the last time we will be at school. So many good times...

I really can't wait to go to uni, I'm actually really excited about it, but leaving friends behind is gonna really suck.

Sega FC Gameweek 2

Well I think we all know what we need to improve on after a game like that!!! I'm not gonna pick on people individually because I can do the same with myself and the list will take up a whole blog post on the things i need to improve on. For starters I think fitness for me was a major problem and I think everyone else in the team. Not only were we tired but as the game played on we got more and more desperate and the marking got very sloppy. Defenders need to realise that the best they can do against an opponent better than them is to simply be in front of them and pressure them into passing. Often the pass is then intercepted or they will try to go around you where you can then tackle, not before!

A second thing, I think it's a bit rich to say to someone "Why don't you come back?" and then leave that person in defence while everyone goes up front... That person knows who they are.

Oh yeah, and lastly Joe, KEEP YOUR HEAD UP!!! Your doing a great job in goal against a hard team. You need to be the spirit of the team and keep us going!!! If you lose confidence which I think might have been what happened, then goals will start flooding in. Be Determined!!!

Myself? I think I need the running machine because fitness was disgraceful. I didn't come back as a result alot of the time but after some fitness training I should improve :D I haven't played full games out field with you guys ever, so I think I've simply got to improve my fitness to last the full game.

Unlucky guys and I hope that after next week's bye game we come back stronger than EVER!!!

Favourite Horror Movies

Okay, I'm going to make a list of some of the best horror movies. Any opinions or additions are welcomed.

1) Jaws: Ok... its a classic and i'm a bit biased. But for its time, you have to admit it must of been pretty scary. I think the best part is the part where he explodes a scuba tank (implausible). Very good film!

2) Friday the 13th: Who can not see this and squirm? A bit? Well its a slasher film and yes I think it is also a classic that needs to be recognised. Jason Voorhees starred in my first horror film I have seen... No i didn't sleep very often afterwards...

3) Predator: EPIC!!! Its kinda a horror film right? The sequels and "Predators" was good but nothing could really beat the original. Gotta see it.

4) A Nightmare on Elm Street: Try sleeping after watching this! Yes, another slasher film involving Freddy Kreuger (apprentices being Eddy and Joe) and its a ripper involving a dream killer. I've seen parts of the original and the whole remake at the cinema and the only thing that made me jump was when Taylor Bates screamed when Freddy appeared unexpectantly because of sleep deprivation while the characters are driving at night. Damn... Scary quotes involve "Did you know that after your heart stops beating your brain functions for up to 7 minutes? We have six more minutes to play!" and also the best scene is when the girl is thrown round the room in her sleep before she is killed. Awesome build up and kill scene! Oh yeah and the funny bit was when a girl is dreaming and falls into a hallway of blood which then Freddy says, "How's this for a wet dream?". What!? I thought it was funny...

5) Halloween: Should be recognised as a good classic horror and this is all I'll say because I haven't actually seen it.

6) Open Water: I may have told some of you about this film but i think this is one of the scarier BASED ON A TRUE STORY films. It involves a couple of divers that get left behind after a diving trip and they stay in the water for hours before they die. The bodies were never found. The scene where the girl gives up and just swims down into shark infested water is really sad (she dies).

7) The Ring: Pretty good film. Makes you think... and squirm...

8) Ghost Ship: Not a well known horror film but the part where everyone is cut in half while dancing is friggin... gross...

9) Saw: Everyone says its good. And it must be good if they make so many sequels so its making an appearance on this list. (Haven't seen it).

10) Untraceable: Reasonably new and you probably haven't heard of it. Basically about a guy who kills people while streaming live on the internet, the more people who view, the faster the person dies. (Eg. A guy is in a tank of water and the more people who view the stream, the faster industrial grade sulphuric acid is pumped into the tank.)

Add some more comments about movies you have seen that you classify as an awesome horror movie.

Red Flashing Light: Death

The PS3 fans will know what this means.

Yep! My PS3 has now deceased (2007-2010)

Well there I was, playing my beloved gaming console, when all of the sudden the system shut off while beeping angrily and started flashing a red light. Well I turned it back on, it started up and then a yellow light flashed and then a continuous flashing red light. If you don't understand what this means, it means I've killed my PS3 with love by playing it too much. It must of overheated and died.... loudly.

I have no idea what to do now.... its all over....

NAOOOOO!!!!

PS: What's worse is that my Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 disk is still inside the dead console. DAMIT!

The Stat Tab

You know on the dashboard in blogger homepage there is a tab saying "stats" now? Its actually quite interesting to look at. I have found out the the majority of the views I have gotten and their audiences are from Australia (YAY). However I also have a majority of views from Netherlands, the US, the UK, United Arab Emirates...? and also Brazil. These are just some wierd ones though, there is quite a few more.

You should have a quick browse of your blog's stats to see where your target audiences are. You never know, I could do a post in arabic to appeal to my audience in the UAE...

Indoor Final

WE WON!!!

Score: 5 - 3 ???

I think we all played pretty well (except for me in goal). Considering a person didn't turn up and we played with 5 players, winning the final was an awesome outcome.

Highlights:

• Joe actually scoring via hitting the target (OMG COLOURBOY SCORED!!!)
• Some epic rippage and man of the match to our friend TOOMARSE!!!
• Ben using his "ball trap and jump" technique (where he traps the ball between his ankles and jumps over the player's foot and then continues)
• Chris goalkeeping epically!
• Brandon... fucking Brandon

Overal a good game and looking foward to going back to old teams next season.

Some of them turned out REALLY well and the "Skippy" photo gives you an idea of what you really SEE under the water instead of mostly greenish-blue tinge. Jailbreaking?

There has been alot of controversy about jailbreaking lately and to be honest, I think that jailbreaking is for fools. If you simply buy a product in order to jailbreak it, first you are simply a jew. When I ask people why they jailbreak their ipods, their answer is simply "free games" and "more customisable". Ok, well if you want free games while there are free games on itunes....your a jew.

The ipod touch was released as an MP3 player more than anything else. When I bought it, I was looking for a fancy MP3 player. If you want games and customizable shit, then buy one of these mini laptop computers. Also, I believe that once you have jailbroken it, the warranty is VOID and this was before Apple made a song and dance about the issue, and YES they will know if you have jailbroken it, they are not IDIOTS!

To jailbreaking I agree with Apple with a NO! If you don't like it then why not buy something else?

Dolphin Footage

I went for a dive today and dispite the weather being horrible and the water being worse, the highlight was in between dives and moving to the next dive spot. Some dolphins followed us for quite a while and soon I realised a dolphin was right near the bow of the boat, surfing in the water in front of us.

They are truly amazing creatures so take a good look at the footage I picked up from today on my flickr page ---------->

Peforming Arts Tomorrow

Thankyou Emerson for reminded said person XY to come to practice today. Sadly now he knows to come on the bus tomorow and I have to speak up and say that we will not perform well with him and he does not deserve to go.

As I said in a previous post, he is not coming to any practices and I was planning to use this against him, however now he came to the practice it sounds a bit mean for me to kick him out. However we have all worked really hard and I WILL say something tomorrow if he shows up to get on the bus. He does NOT know his part and will bring everyone down by being there.
(We have all voted together that he does not perform).

Anyway, Hope all goes well tomorrow with others in performing arts and I would also thank Emerson on ruining my devious and kind of devilish plan. :*(

The Ensemble

Seriously, I am absolutely sick of clarinet ensemble to the point where I want to ruin it for everyone by quitting. If I was to quit, then the WHOLE ensemble would fall apart... No seriously these guys cannot play clarinet if their lives depended on it.

It is mainly two people, for the purposes of not wanting to defame, lets call these people "Person XX" and "Person XY"
Person XX cannot keep in tune and puts EVERYBODY out not to mention cannot play their part. This person does not come to practices often and its annoying that this person relies alot on me to play their part.
Person XY cannot play their part, period. This person doesn't EVER turn up for ensemble even when an hour and a half earlier I reminded them. This person I swear is missing one or two or 44 chromosomes.

Its just annoying that you put time and effort into something only for people to throw it back into their face. Its really quite insulting and I am not looking foward to standing up on stage next week with these guys because they cannot play together, it will be an utter disaster.

I do not know what else to do but soldier on I guess... Oh well...

World Breath Holding Competitions

Freediving is one of the most dangerous sports around. Basically involves holding your breath under the time limit and at depth.

There are 4 basic categories:
Constant Weight is basically carrying a weight down a rope without touching it and taking a tag when reaching your limit and then coming up again (coming up is hard).
Current record is 122m (Thats vertical depth. Double that number for total swimming distance...)

Variable Weight involves taking a weighted sled down to a specified depth then swimming down as far as you can go and then making your way up again.
Current record is 140m

Static Apnea is basically holding your breath underwater as long as possible.
Current Record is 11 minutes and 35 seconds!!! WHOA!!!

No Limits is most dangerous and involves going down on a sled and then returning to the surface via a special balloon. This is most dangerous because going up rushes your body with gases and causes you to black out (called blue water black out i think...)
Current Record is 214m... WOW!

Just some useless facts on breath holding.
My current free diving depth is 23m and breath holding is 2 minutes 30 seconds. Almost there...

My Day was FULL ON!!!!

No recess or lunch as i had to go to clarinet ensemble at recess, pack up and finish my biology experiment as well as concert band practice. No afternoon as i had swing band practice and math tutor. No rest of day because of school and no night because of homework.

English At Curtin

Actually i thought it was pretty good. I really enjoyed some and was bored to death at others. I found it especially annoying at the arguementative writing one where the expressive hand lady read everything almost word for word off her slide, the No Sugar lecture being completely mind boggling and of course the stupid bottle cap fact.

Despite these things i still thought the day was rather enlightening :D especially as i missed a day of school. But I think everyone wanted to go home before the last lecture. Still good though...

Underwater Proposal

Yesterday I helped out on the boat (again) however, this time for a
very different reason. A guy came into the shop the other day and
asked my boss for a favor to help him in proposing to his girlfriend
underwater. So he ended up booking himself and his girlfriend on a
dive course. So, we made a treasure chest like box and embedded two
golden weights and the ring box to the bottom (to hold the ring).

At the start of the dive we made up a story about a man named Le Quinn
who sank his boat at a place called Quinns Reef and the treasure never
found (as corny as it sounds it was quite believable.)

When the couple got in the water we hid the chest it a predetermined
spot with the ring inside. After hiding it I put some seaweed in and
around the box for authenticity. The box was found and he proposed and
the girl said yes. Awwww!

Anyway, I thought it was pretty cool to have played a part in the
changing of someones life, and it was quite funny seeing someone
hyperventerlate underwater...
I'll post some pics and maybe a short video another time.

Triumph!!!

Last night, I awarded my stressfull week with a Night Dive off the dive boat. I took the chance to test out my fifth housing and at last it did not leak!!! YAY!!! The first dive was during the day and the second at night, however the camera was not taken down on the night dive because the rechargeable batteries I was testing out did not last long enough for two dives as normal batteries do... :(

According to my dive computer the water was a nice chilly 17 degrees and out of the 40 photos i took, these were the only ones that were worth posting, the rest were complete duds. Make sure you enlarge them to see full quality and comment on any you particularly like :D

Ages ago I went to Rottnest for Biology Camp. It was so AWESOME!!!

The highlight was definitely the snorkelling and i thought i would show some the best ones that I have found on my computer.

Out of the rough 40 I take each time I go diving (or in this case snorkelling) only a few end up like these. Looking at them now, doesn't give them justice so make sure you click and enlarge them especially the octopus.

Why do i bother?

Exams are stupid. I hate exams. I haven't done one yet but study is a bitch. At any time i could go and do something i WANT to do, but instead im stuck at my desk studying. I hate study. Study is stupid.

TARDIS Machines in the Future?

I think one day someone will figure out time travel. I don't know how long it will take but i think someone will. Wouldn't it be awesome? Being able to visit civilisations back in time and return to the exact point in time in which you left? I think it would be awesome!!!

The book I am reading at the moment is delving into what could be time travel. I know i don't do physics, but basically the theory in this book sounds pretty logical. If you travel fast enough you will be able to break the barrier for the speed of sound and eventually travel back in time. I think that is sounds improbable that this is the secret to time travel but it makes you think!!!

However, it could be proof that we will never have time travel because we haven't been visited by time travellers yet... Either that or the world we are currently living in is as dull as...well... Perth.

Really Enjoyed tonights game but considering how many attempts Joe had, I think he deserved the goal... Otherwise, I think that the game was really clean and breaking in a new ref was good, despite his jumpiness on the whistle (needs to let the game flow).

The Name "Kehana"...

According to SOME websites the name "kahana" (spelt similarly to the team's name) can mean many things.

1) It can mean turning point... So according to math we can either be at the very top or bottom depending on the parabola...

2) "Kaha" can mean "to mark, draw, turn or surf" and "Na" means "belonging to". So therefore we belong to surfing or something...

3) Kahana can also mean priest which can be the reason why Wong stood no chance against us :D

You people can decide which one suits us best, despite our team's spelling mistake...

You know? I don't give a rats @$$ what people say about B4MV's new album. I kinda like it! All you people who think it isnt very good can go take a hike. Already today I had someone who came up to me and said that it was already growing on them and they were enjoying it. You know who I blame? THE INFLUENCE OF REVIEWS!!!

Yeah, Emerson is going to think im blaspheming when I say that magazines and reporters give a big influence on how films turn out in the cinema. People say something publicly about a movie, for example, and if it happens to be good then they go see it. However if their review was that it was "mind numbingly boring" then people won't see it.

People have to realise that reviews is ONE PERSON'S point of view. See it for yourself and then decide. Thats why i refused to read reviews about Fever before listening to it. Hence, i think, is the reason why I think it is good and others think it is crap.

BE AN INDIVIDUAL AND DECIDE FOR YOUSELF!!!

Squash Day!!!

Yesterday was SQUASH DAY for the people who were interested in the event...
Anyway, those who did go gave me great feedback and I would like to thank everyone for going and encourage everyone else to try it. Don't ask my oppinion, but Geoff, Wong, James or Conor's because I would simply say that it is great fun and that everyone should give it a try :D

Anyways, significant events included:

• Geoff grazing his knee.... again....,
• Conor deciding to go at the last minute...
• James buying an epic awesome new RACKET!!!
• Wong almost killing everyones eyes and face with the ball, racket, his body etc
• Me being a nice person and organizing it...

Facebook

Look, I know I use it. Ok?
But there is a few things annoying me about it. Fairly new to facebook, I am still getting used to some things. Its great to update your status and stuff, but ive found there is quite a few different ways to write a "status".

One way is to post normally. Saying something about a movie you just saw, saying your bogged down with homework and excited for a study break to go out with friends etc.

Then there is the ANNOUNCEMENT kind of status which people can make stupid comments on and end up looking like an absolute doosh. (Could be everyones "person x" right now). This could be about a band coming to your city or something else more intimate or meaningful.

There could also be the post which could mean shit all to everyone and nobody really cares about (mostly stuff like my posts lol).

Then their is another way where you are literally asking for either "sympathy" or "some other interaction". People may say for example that they are really sad or depressed and leave it really short, wanting someone to come along and ask the question of "whats the matter sweetie?". This one is one that pisses me off.... Why would you ask for sympathy on FACEBOOK!!! Call a friend or go out somewhere! Don't fucking say it so everyone on facebook can see that your currently cutting yourself!!!

Anyway, my point out of all this is that some people really dont understand what they should and shouldn't put on the internet. Shouldn't some things just be resolved by talking to someone else? Posting on facebook is not the way to go. Personal blogs are fine, their reasonabley private and really only friends know about them. NOT Facebook!!!

Sorry to those who are offended but facebook should not be used as that sort of tool...

I know I should be stressing, but i can't find a possible motivation to get work done. I started to make an effort to read my english novel (2 pages) on the holiday and that was it... I think the motivation to do well and the stress of doing well is at a stand still.

For example, I did NO study on the holidays and had no assignments (significant ones) to do, the only one I had is due at the end of this term. Damn Pokemon for "distracting" me!!!

So why am I not worried anymore like last year? Does anybody else feel like this or are they studying and stressing already? I really want to get into uni, but my will to do well is diminished.

My Life Changing Moment

Yeah, for some it may be simply having a near death experience, but for me I realised my mortality on the sandy bottom of the ocean at 31.8m...

Looking up at 31.8m and seeing the boat above is a daunting experience, the visibility and lack of wind made this dive particularly amazing. But what was more amazing is looking up and realising that one bad mistake could be catastrophic.

The Gemini is a 40-50m barge built around 50 years ago. Strategically sunk in 1993 and since laying on the sea bed at around 32m in depth means that the growth on the ship was amazing. On the starboard side of the ship ( ooo technical boating term :O ) was large pink soft coral branching out 2m or so in length with the diameter of the trunk connecting to the wreck being larger that you could put both arms around and touch your fingers together (you cant hug it.... and i wouldnt recommend trying either...).

Inside the wreck is home to many small fish and invertebrates (no... not geoffrey) such as crayfish and nudibranchs.

Downsides is seeing my camera leak after the THIRD TIME!!! Now having to send it back (did it today) hopefully i will be gettin myself a new epic camera!!!

It makes you think as you "free-fall" down into the depths that you really are at the mercy of the elements/ocean and this is what slightly scared me. Going over my dive time (means I could have gotten the bends) also scared me a bit...

Realising your mortality is something i think everyone eventually has, but having found mine so spectacularly is pretty awesome.

First day we rode around the island and wrote in our booklets etc.
Second day we went snorkelling! EPIC!
Third day we went to the beach and did transects and beach combing (i found a Pt Jackson Shark Egg) and then went to the museum and finished our booklets.

Overall Rating: AWESOME!

Im looking at some new gloves for the new football season and looking at the same type I have now. They have lasted me two seasons so im looking for something similar and I have found out that the gloves that I have has got a new model! Reasonably the same but the looks are slightly different. The new colour is awesome but what do you think.

KEEP IN MIND: I may not buy them and I also may not play as a keeper this year so this is just speculation. Also note that they are the same model of gloves and im just wondering about the colour.

WSWYCS's New Look: Explained

Well for those wondering what was involved in the makeover was:

• The writing is now fluro green (As opposed to this)
• The background is now a darker blue (As opposed to this)
• The Title Pic is different, and the reflection to the bottom left of the shell is not a gas mask, but it is me with my regulator and mask on, hence Geoff's guess...
• The last change is the fact the writer is back and ready for some epic posting :D

My Fishy Friends

Due to difficulties with my epic fail internet etc, I will not be showing pictures until another date, however my fishies that some of you became aquainted with at indoor after my impulse buy while on double nuerofen dosage, are settling in well in their new home complete with yellow pebbles and 2 fake trees (lol I don't think they have even noticed! *Wink*)
Anyway along with my two goldfish, I also got myself an algae eater (as yet UNNAMED) for the tank which is a smaller fish that is mainly good for cleaning tanks. I would very much like suggestions for naming, as im not sure what names the goldfish are either as the girls fight out amongst themselves for naming priorities. But the algae eater is definitely unnamed and needs a name fitting for his status in the "fish tank shizzle pad".

PS: Current possible names include Brittany-Annie, Ashlyn-Annie, Fred, Stripe (for the algae eater as he has stripes) and other explicit names suggested by tom... Building on these names or other names will be accepted :) or i will just give names from those above. EPIC METAL NAMES ACCEPTED TOO!!!

This Friday officially sucks!

Well, im in my study period in Music, wondering why people purposely choose to, say, drop someone backwards so that they have an enormous headache and a severely bruised tailbone... Indoor tonight is probably going to be a miss as i can't walk let alone run, and i have gotten a couple of tests back, all fail.

School = Fail

Simply that! Its just fail! I miss out on two days of school and i feel like ive missed a week and a half worth of work. Still, i suppose it was worth it for music camp...
But on another note, im now even more worried about the 3 days ill be missing out on when on biology camp. I wont be able to do any work as we will most probably be constantly doing things without breaks. But again, its probably worth it :P especially as i end up getting the time off for biology camp wednesday to friday, time off to recover for the weekend and then back on camp again from monday to wednesday for retreat. I have to get 3 assignments done by week 6 too. And that is why school is fail, they give you lots of fun time, but the workload still sucks ass!

Oh well, take the good with the bad i guess, but i sill get through it... Hopefully....

By the way! The absence of remarks on my last post could mean that maybe people don't know what the reflection on the shell is. HINT: The hair looks familiar...

WSWYCS's New Look...

Yeah well, i changed it a little. Still the same writer, however seeing that i was getting a little bored, i thought i would spice the blog up a bit to inspire myself to write more.
Lets get started with a quick review on this term so far:

Indoor Soccer - Epic!!! Especially the gripping "Epic FC vs The Awesome" game.
Movies including Wolfman, Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief and Shutter Island - Some dissapointing and some pretty good and others dam distracting....
Music Camp 2010 - Absolute awesome on a stick! Highlights including the mysterious moaning girl, swimming and late night karoke.
Other School related events etc. - Swimming carnival was really fun and Mercy lost haha!

Returning more for (hopefully) more than 1 post a week ;)

Holidays Are Done Now

Yeah, their done... but now that they are done, i can get back to using my blog as a way to procrastinate from doing my homework :D
I haven't been on the blog for a while, to be real honest i haven't used my computer in ages either because of my new iPod Touch 32gb with voice control etc. etc. (stuff that geoffrey's touch doesn't have) etc. etc. etc.
Well now that i have to use my computer again for research, assignments and the like, i will try and do some more blogging. :)

Night at the River

Pretty good night last night, no wind or chop to be worried about. The night started off with me remembering I had forgot some equipment (towel and glow stick) but it didnt stop me from jumping into the water at around 7:40pm. Aiming for prawns we set out and my first prawn was caught sucessfully. Looking around with my prize made me realise that my two buddies had dissapeared into the night. No idea where they went and all alone, i decided to continue my dive anyway because i was not going to stop at 1 prawn.

After a while of being chased by blue manner crabs, jumping out of my skin when bumping into things, and catching some more prawns i was beginning to run out of air so i surfaced. I did not know that the aim time was to be 50 minutes so after staying down for an 1 hour and 20 minutes the group started to get worried and considered ringing the water police (oops). Being the efficient breather I am, i can stay down slightly longer than everyone else, but apparently that should not have been the case... Anyway, i ended up catching 4 prawns. Well... 4 large prawns, 3 killer prawns (inedible apparently and also called mantis prawns?) and 2 baby prawns that i also had to throw back. One of these prawns was quite large at 18cm and another at 15cm.

Finally!

I now have 1TB at my disposal for memory space instead of my original measly 80gb. At last! I can start to broaden my horizons into more bands and more music than ever before!!! Mwahahahahahahahahaha!

By the way Matthew, I managed to see Chester (LP) in a movie recently that could be considered another fact to your fact list. The movie was horribly crap but still...
